Rising Star of the Month: Malsha Nirmani Manawadu

In September, Malsha Nirmani Manawadu was honoured as the Rising Star of the Month. Malsha demonstrated remarkable performance, particularly in improving team collaboration and efficiency. Her contributions to project development have significantly enhanced the overall success of the team, making her a valuable member of the organisation.

Best Employee of the Month: Malinda Ashen Gunasekara

Malinda Ashen Gunasekara was honoured as the Best Employee of the Month for September 2025 in recognition of his exceptional performance, versatility, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Malinda successfully managed and delivered multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, including ITIL, MSP Foundation and Practitioner, Six Sigma, NCC, NCFE, and AI Video Creation initiatives. His ability to handle complex, cross-functional responsibilities with precision and efficiency set him apart.

Malinda led the end-to-end ITIL content creation and quality assurance process, ensuring all materials met the highest standards before launch. He also spearheaded QA processes for MSP courses, enhanced course visibility through category page content, and contributed directly to the timely launch of several programmes. Beyond his technical expertise, Malinda demonstrated leadership and innovation by improving workflows, training and mentoring content writers, and fostering strong team collaboration. His reliability, professionalism, and willingness to go beyond his role have made him an invaluable team member and a key contributor to organisational success.

Best Leader of the Month: Tharuka Gunasekara

In September 2025, Tharuka Gunasekara was recognised as the Best Leader of the Month for his strong leadership, clear communication, and results-driven approach. Tharuka worked closely with his team to align efforts with organisational objectives, providing consistent support through regular feedback sessions, team meetings, and detailed reviews of communications and learner feedback. His open and transparent leadership style ensured that team members felt valued, confident, and included.

By maintaining a strong focus on outcomes, Tharuka successfully led the team to meet and exceed key targets, including the early completion of course content and assignment briefs. This enabled tutors to conduct induction sessions promptly, enhancing the learner experience. He also promoted cross-department collaboration by encouraging peer tasks, strengthening teamwork and mutual support. Tharuka's leadership fostered trust, motivation, and a positive working environment, making him a driving force behind both team and organisational success.
